Well, I personally LOVE moving around! I have lived in East Village, Midtown, Chelsea, and now in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I for one ADORE Williamsburg but THIS IS NEW YORK! I want to live all over the place. Learn and experience different things! If you are looking for Manhattan… DEFINITELY East Village or Gramercy Park and in Brooklyn?
